Adobe Creative Cloud is draining the battery too fast

What to do if Adobe Creative Cloud is draining the battery?

1. Get the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud

Make sure you download and install the latest version of Creative Cloud. Improvements in battery life are constantly added, and the software is optimized to use fewer resources.

Just update your application and check the battery status. You will definitely notice an improvement.

2. Disable font syncing and file syncing

  1. Start Adobe Creative Cloud. (Launch it from the taskbar if it is already open)
  2. Go to the Preferences Panel.
  3. Open the Creative Cloud tab.
  4. Navigate to Fonts.
  5. Right under TYPEKIT ON/OFF, select Off.
  6. Open the Files tab.
  7. Right under SYNCKIT ON/OFF, select Off.
  8. Confirm the changes.
  9. Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

3. Uninstall and reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud

  1. Download the official Creative Cloud Uninstaller.
  2. Unzip the archive.
  3. Run the uninstaller.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
